NEXT RECIPE CONTEST

What’s Fresh?

Share your favorite recipes showcasing the
season’s first fresh produce, and you could win $500!

Late spring and early summer mean the end of hectic school days and the beginning of easier, breezier hours and menus. A time to throw open windows, brighten your home, start a garden and lighten up your table with recipes featuring fresh-picked fruits and veggies…at last!

That’s why Simple & Delicious has chosen “What’s Fresh” as our next recipe-contest theme. We want those favorite recipes for juicy, just-picked produce your family looks forward to every year. Recipes that mean summer’s finally just ahead!

We’re looking for dishes that are as pretty as they are delicious. Think asparagus, sweet Vidalia onions and spring greens…or colorful rhubarb, berries and cantaloupe. We’d also love to try recipes with fresh green beans, sugar snap peas, new potatoes and more!

The deadline for entries is August 1, 2008. Don’t forget to include a few words about your recipe’s origin and any fun variations. If your entry is judged the best, you’ll win $500! See details on all the prizes and contest rules below.
